Based in Antibes - Juan Les Pins(South East part of France), Jean-Jacques Venturini is part of the "narrative figuration", a contemporary figurative painting.

As a professional designer, Jean-Jacques began his career in Paris, where he worked for many years for large industrial groups.

Eclectic and passionate self-taught painting, Jean-Jacques is a member of Lettrist Isidore Isou and attended often the Café Moineau, located at  "rue du Four" in Saint-Germain-Des-pres(Paris), famous place of appointment for lettrists.

Through his pictorial works, Jean-Jacques falls in the course of the "narrative figuration" , developing an innate sense of detail based on research of the atmosphere through contrasts of light and shadow, effects of substances surrounded in features.
